Showing support for the classroom – and the teachers who make it all possible – was at the heart of Round Hill Road School’s third annual Paint Night and Basket Raffle on May 14.
More than 50 guests enjoyed an evening of painting, conversation, and raffle prizes raising more than $5,500 to support school programs and activities. Funds raised help provide enriching experiences including the popular bubble show as well as staff appreciation luncheons.
Organized by Lisa Kaplan, Social Worker; Danielle Wood, Movement/Dance Therapist; and Margarite Tagliaferro, Psychologist, the event has become a valued tradition for the school community. It offers parents and staff an opportunity to connect outside of the classroom, build relationships, and celebrate the community they’ve created together. This year’s event was held at the school’s new building for the first time, helping to reduce overhead costs and make the most of every dollar raised. A total of 56 baskets were raffled, including two baskets that were also featured at the Steps Toward Tomorrow Walk. Heartfelt congratulations to the team of organizers, teachers, parents, and community partners who have donated to make this night such a success!
Special thanks to our community partners:
